David R.'s Story

Life I grew up in Bradenton FL and went to Bayshore Elementary School. After 1 year at Bayshore Jr. High (7th), we moved to Savannah GA. 8th and 9th grade were at Bartlett Jr. High and I started Windsor Forest fall of 1969. I went to Windsor Forest during 10th and 11th grade, then was bussed to Beach HS for my senior year in '72 (sucked). Somehow I managed to survive and was accepted at Ga Tech for college. I met my wife at Ga Tech and we were married in '76. I graduated from Tech in '78 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. We lived in West Palm Beach FL for 5 years after graduation where I worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft on the engine for F-15 and F-16 aircraft. I have now worked for Williams International in Walled Lake Michigan for 29 years (amazing) and work with customers like Cessna and Hawker Beechcraft to integrate FJ44 engin...Expand for more
es into their aircraft. My wife graduated from Ga Tech with a degree in Health Systems and is a Director in Performance Leadership for Trinity Health (Catholic health system). I have two children. I have a 34 yr old daughter who teaches 3rd grade in Texas and is married to a middle school band director. I have two beautiful granddaughters. My 32 yr old son is a packaging engineer in Charlotte NC and is married to a HS english teacher. They have a beautiful little girl who will be one year old in May! Both kids off the payroll before 52!!! We have one dog ... our first boy, Gus (Gustaf Maximillian) is a sensitive, smart, well behaved Labradoodle.! If that's not enough, we name our cars ... Mini Pearl and the Barbie Car ... and our boats, Gilligan and Tadpole. P.S. I do have a Facebook account (David Robert Miller) and I am a parrot head!
